Summer

The warmth of the sun, such fantastic light,
Though concealed and tucked away during the cool of night.
Summer brings her joy in a seasonal form,
As children play on the beach and two lovers kiss under a pier.
Reclining on the sand I smell the salty sea,
While the soft breeze gently envelops over me.
Refreshing waters, I slink into the waves.
Such a scintillating sight to behold.
Summer is true, she delivers a soothing sound.
To the shores I shall bask, of this is where I am found.
